For all you T-mobile HTC HD2 smartphone users out there who have been waiting for an official software update to land, you’ll be happy to know that today is the day you have been waiting for as T-Mobile is to release software update version 3.14.531.1 to the HTC HD2.
According to an article over on Tmonews, the new software update from T-mobile will deliver several fixes along with stability improvements and access to new apps like Amazon MP3 and Shazam. As for those bug fixes…
The new software update will fix such stuff as slow browsing when on Facebook, the inability to delete Gmail messages in the preview screen, Twitter errors, SMS being delivered to the wrong person, and the white screen whilst browsing the net, the inability to hear Visual Voicemail, unable to unlock the device, unable to unlock the HTC HD2 with correct password, and the lack of a space bar on company directory keyboard, and finally the speakerphone doesn’t work after using the Call Assist app to call 611.
HTC HD2 user can download the new software update by visiting www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade and following the instruction; however T-mobile will issue a notification by text to HTC HD2 users when the update is ready, which should be today the 19th of October so keep an eye on your text messages and let us know how you get along.

Roc-A-Fella Co-Founder Busted In Marijuan Ring
Founding Roc-A-Fella Records member Kareem "Biggs" Burke was arrested today (October 15th) with 42 other people in a ring that allegedly controlled the marijuana market in New York City.
According to The New York Daily News, Burke has been a part of the ring since 1992. Federal prosecutors claim that Burke was part of a network that was headed up by Geovanny (Manny) Rodriguez Perez aka "Shorty."
Police accused Shorty's network of growing the pot down south, shipping it up north in tractor trailers and returning the proceeds to South Florida, according to Jim Hayes, a special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations For Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Police arrested Burke at his home in North Bergen, N.J. In addition to Burke, an advertising executive for High Times named Matthew Stang was arrested in an 18 month operation, which was dubbed "Operation Green Venom."
Agents confiscated $1 million in drug profits and 177 pounds of marijuana from the suspects as well.
"This isn't just a group that controlled one block, one neighborhood," Hayes said. "They dominated the wholesale marijuana market in New York for 20 years."
Burke helped co-found Roc-A-Fella Records in 1996 with Jay-Z and Damon Dash, after the pair had been turned down by several record labels.
They landed a distribution deal with Priority Records and released Jay-Z's classic debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
Kareem "Biggs" Burke and the others face 10 years to life in prison for allegedly distributing over 1,000 kilos of the drug.

Sources have confirmed that rap star Rhymefest is planning a run for office in the November General Election in Chicago.
Rhymefest is planning a run for Alderman for the South Side of Chicago's 20th Ward.
The Grammy Award winning rapper will be running against Alderman Willie Cochran, who is seeking to be reelected.
"Its already starting! I talk about helping my community and the villains are attacking my character and family! I won't stop!" Rhymefest tweeted in regards to the pending announcement of his candidacy. "The 20th Ward in Chicago needs help, shorties are out here selling dope to pay the family bills. Grandmothers are raising their children's children, people are un-employed and under employed & leadership is absent!"
Rhymefest, born Che Smith, will be holding a press conference at the Exclusively Yours Auto Spa on South State Street in downtown Chicago.

Current Event Of The Week-Study Shows America Loves #Sex (#NewSkoolRhymes)
Finally, a refreshingly sex-positive new study of how Americans do it. The National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior (NSSHB) is a sample of 5,865 men and women age 14 to 94 that looked at a combination of 41 sexual activities, as well as condom use and sexual satisfaction, and was just been published in Journal of Sexual Medicine.
And, hallelujah! It offers up some good news -- some of it obvious, some surprising -- about what we do in bed. Below, a handful of highlights we picked out just for you.
1. The Last Time You Did It? Was Gooooood
"The vast majority of women indicated that their most recent experience of sex was highly pleasurable and arousing," said Debby Herbenick, PhD, research scientist at Indiana University and writer of "Because It Feels Good," when we asked for some of the best news for women in their 20s and 30s. "Also, 64 percent reported experiencing an orgasm, which, while not important to everyone, is of course important to many women and is higher than some studies we've seen in the past."
2. We're All "Doin' the Billy Idol"
Masturbation was more frequent among men than women. (Is anyone that surprised by this news?) But among women, those of us age 25–29 are doing it the most often. The authors point to these findings by saying they hope this data is an indication that female masturbation is becoming normalized. Apparently for some of us it is way normalized. Go team.
3. Fifth Base: No Longer the Last Taboo
"More than 20 percent of men age 25–49 and women age 20–39 reported anal sex in the past year." While that doesn't sound like a huge number, they show that one in five of us is getting a little exit action. The study only accounted for anal penetration with a flesh-and-blood penis, so we don't know how many of you were returning the favor for your boyfriends.
4. Condoms Are More Common With Casual Partners
More men and women used condoms when not with a relationship partner. Single adults used condoms 46.7 percent of the last 10 times they had vaginal intercourse, compared with 11.1 percent for married adults. Good news? High rates of condom use amongst adolescents. GOOD JOB, TEENAGERS!
5. We're Talking It Out
Unfortunately, 1 in 3 women reported pain during sex. According to Debby Herbenick, "Some women likely have vulvodynia (a vulvar-pain condition), some probably experienced vaginal dryness related to menopause or while breast-feeding, but probably many of these women experienced pain as a result of typical sex conditions." The good news? Sex-positive experts are more accessible than ever to consult women about their sexual health. Herbenick suggests "choosing sex positions that provide more control over penetration, by communicating with their partner about what feels good or what doesn't feel good, or by using lubricant, a lubricated condom or even a vibrator."
6. There's More to Sex Than Intercourse
Stale jokes about skipping the foreplay aside, the study shows that most of us are engaging in a lot of it. Herbenick agreed that we're moving away from viewing intercourse as the "main event." Lupe Fiasco Gets A Tentative Release
After rapper Lupe Fiasco made peace with Atlantic Records yesterday - just a week before his fans' scheduled protest - the label has finally announced a spring release date for the much anticipated Lasers album.The album, which stands for “Love Always Shines Every Time Remember 2 Smile,” is slated to be released on March 8th.
After the success of his two previous albums Food & Liquor and The Cool, the public has been anxiously awaiting a set release date for the Grammy-award
winning artists’ new compilation.
The Chicago-bred MC will release the lead single on Tuesday October 26th via his new website www.lupefiasco.com.
Last month, fans of the rapper announced that were planning a protest of Atlantic Records on October 15th, to force the label to release Lasers.

Current Event Of The Week-Cop Arrested In 2 State Shooting Spree
(CNN) -- A police officer arrested Friday in Will County, Illinois, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder in connection with a two-state rural shooting rampage that left one man dead, authorities said.
Brian E. Dorian, 37, an officer with the Lynwood Police Department, will probably face other charges, said Will County State's Attorney James W. Glasgow. In addition to the fatality, three people were wounded in the spree, which occurred south of Chicago.
At a news conference Friday, authorities declined to provide a possible motive for the shootings, which occurred Tuesday.
Dorian's first court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
He is being held on a probable cause warrant, and bail was set at $2.5 million, said Charles Pelkie, a spokesman for the Will County state's attorney's office.
"It's always law enforcement's worst nightmare when someone in the law enforcement community chooses to break the law," Glasgow said. "It's critical that we act no differently in investigating a policeman than we would any lay person. No professional courtesies. No special treatment."
Dorian's father adamantly denied his son was involved."My son would never do that. They don't have the shooter. The shooter is still out there," John Dorian told CNN affiliate WLS in Chicago.
Dorian, who WLS said has been on medical leave for an injured shoulder the past year, was taken into custody at his residence, said authorities, who added that evidence is being analyzed.
A woman left the residence before the arrest. Dorian had four pit bulls with him when he was arrested, said Will County Sheriff Paul Kaupas.
The shootings began about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a construction site near Beecher, Illinois. The gunman killed one worker at the site and wounded two others, police have said.
An hour later and about 10 miles away in Lowell, Indiana, authorities believe the same gunman opened fire again -- this time on a local farmer. Keith Dahl was shot in the left shoulder, arm and elbow, and then was robbed.
Dahl told Lake County (Indiana) Sheriff's Detective Robert Martinez that the gunman approached him on his farm and started a conversation about bees before beginning to shoot.
The gunman was believed to be using a revolver -- possibly a Colt .38 caliber or .357 Magnum -- because no shell casings were found at either scene, Lake County Sheriff Rogelio "Roy" Dominguez said earlier.

You don't help draw the truth from my deepest and most inner soul, you don't even do a great job @ selling it. The #1 problem with DEF JAM is pretty simple and obvious, the executives think they are the stars. You aren't.... not even close. As a matter of fact, you wish you were, but it didn't work out so you took a desk job. To the consumer, I COME FIRST. Stop trying to deprive them! Oakland native Tajai began rhyming with future bandmate A-Plus at age 8, while both were in elementary school.[1] Tajai and Phesto met later in junior high school.[2] Tajai later introduced A-Plus and Phesto to the remaining Souls of Mischief member, Opio, and the group informally formed in high school before making their major-label debut on Jive Records with their well-received album 93 ‘til Infinity, in 1993.[2]
93 ’til Infinity is the group’s highest charting album to date (#17 Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums; #85 Billboard 200), and in January, 1998, was named one of the Top 100 Rap albums by The Source magazine.The group stayed with Jive for one more album, 1995’s No Man’s Land, before being released from the label during that same year.In 1995, following the release of the group from its major-label contract with Jive, the group officially formed the alternative hip-hop collective Hieroglyphics, with emcees Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, JayBiz, and producer Domino.[2] The group participated as full members in both Hieroglyphics’ studio albums: 1998’s 3rd Eye Vision, and 2003’s Full Circle.

Souls of Mischief is a hip hop group from Oakland, CA, and part of the hip hop collective Hieroglyphics. Its members include A-Plus, Tajai, Phesto, and Opio. Souls of Mischief debuted in 1993 with their album 93 ‘til Infinity, released on Jive Records. They later released No Man’s Land (1995), Focus (1999), and Trilogy: Conflict, Climax, Resolution (2000).On December 1st, 2009, Souls of Mischief released Montezuma’s Revenge, a collaboration with Prince Paul, also featuring other members of Hieroglyphics.
History:
Oakland native Tajai began rhyming with future bandmate A-Plus at age 8, while both were in elementary school.[1] Tajai and Phesto met later in junior high school.[2] Tajai later introduced A-Plus and Phesto to the remaining Souls of Mischief member, Opio, and the group informally formed in high school before making their major-label debut on Jive Records with their well-received album 93 ‘til Infinity, in 1993.[2]
93 ’til Infinity is the group’s highest charting album to date (#17 Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums; #85 Billboard 200), and in January, 1998, was named one of the Top 100 Rap albums by The Source magazine.The group stayed with Jive for one more album, 1995’s No Man’s Land, before being released from the label during that same year.In 1995, following the release of the group from its major-label contract with Jive, the group officially formed the alternative hip-hop collective Hieroglyphics, with emcees Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, JayBiz, and producer Domino.[2] The group participated as full members in both Hieroglyphics’ studio albums: 1998’s 3rd Eye Vision, and 2003’s Full Circle.
The group has released two albums on the Hiero’s self-owned independent label, Hieroglyphics Imperium Recordings, 1999’s Focus, and 2000’s Trilogy: Conflict, Climax, Resolution.On October 30, 2006, Hierocast (Hieroglyphics’ official podcast), Del tha Funkee Homosapien reported that the Souls of Mischief were currently working on their next studio album with Prince Paul (De La Soul, Gravediggaz, Handsome Boy Modeling School).This album, Montezuma’s Revenge, was released in 2009.
